About Course

When addiction affects someone you love, it changes everything – not just their life, but yours too. You may feel exhausted, anxious, or unsure how to help without losing yourself.

Families Living with Addiction is a five-part self-paced program created by psychotherapist Diane Young to support family members living with or impacted by addiction.

Through short videos, reflection prompts, and practical worksheets, you’ll learn to:

  • Understand addiction as a condition, not a choice.
  • Recognise how family dynamics shift around addiction.
  • Set healthy, loving boundaries.
  • Manage your own emotions and stress responses.
  • Begin moving forward with acceptance, detachment, and hope.

This program isn’t about fixing someone else – it’s about helping you find steadiness, clarity, and healing, no matter what’s happening around you.

Each module includes a short video, reflection activities, and downloadable tools you can use alone or with your family.

Take the first step toward understanding, balance, and peace – for yourself and those you love.
